Considering this blog is titled "It should be the little things in life" I feel like it would be completely appropriate to have a little weekly series on little things that make me smile.
But of course only if you join in!
I'll start.
LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE ME SMILE
... fireflies on a warm summer evening
i don't have these anymore where i live now, but when i lived in the midwest i loved it and i miss it every summer!
...the smell of a BBQ
...seeing the first star come out at night
...snuggling up under a soft, fuzzy blanket
...when a random person opens the door for you
...giving someone a gift you know they will love
...hearing birds chirp when you wake up in the morning
...accomplishing something before the microwave beeps
...little babies tiny hands and feet
This series will be happening more often folks!
So many things to be thankful for.

I love the sound of birds first thing in the morning. Waking up to chirping outside the window makes me super happy!
absolutely love this post... however I am not a fan of chirping birds in the morning.. because one actually woke me up at 6am today... and annoyed the bajeezzuses out of me until I got up an hour later. Stupid bird!
oh and I love fedoras.. and you wearing one makes me smile!

This is such a cute post, and I seriously cannot believe how chic and expensive your outfit looks, especially the fedora. I love the white color and can't believe it's from Walmart. It looks really nice!
You're so pretty. I like fireflies too on warm nights but the only time I've seen them was visiting family on the East Coast in the summer. It was so fun to watch them
